At the Future Work Centre, we want to see what evidence there is for the advice that professionals (and non-professionals) offer people and organisations. And we want to know whether that advice works. Put simply, we want to see what works, in what way, and for whom.
That’s why an evidence-based approach is core to what we do. But what does that mean? It means that we approach questions about the world of work from an objective perspective.
We use scientific techniques to measure the impact that an initiative, such as a training programme, has when you use it properly. And we take into account the fact that people are different, so what works for one person may not work for another.
Taking this approach means that we can give you insights and advice you can trust will make work better. In other words, no more blind faith. Just the facts.
